Notice To Our Guests: Renovation Work In Progress
As part of our continued commitment to enhance our property and service, we are currently in the process of making improvements to our garage and parking areas. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The renovation team will work between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM each day while you are off enjoying the beach and multiple attractions at the Isle of Palms. Thank you for your understanding during the enhancement period, as it is much appreciated.
Parking will remain available at our lot adjacent to the Seaside Inn.
What is your Lost and Found policy?
Seaside Inn is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items. Should any guest lose personal belongings at our property, we record the item as “found.” For items believed lost, our online Lost and Found form is the easiest and most efficient way to report lost items. Once you submit information on this form, you will receive immediate confirmation that your form has been successfully entered into our tracking system for processing. Your item will be immediately reviewed by Lost and Found personnel. You will receive a confirmation email once your item is found.
To ensure that you receive the confirmation email, add the address notifications@chargerback.com to the “white list” of any spam filter that may be running on your home computer or office email system. Note that if your item is found, it may take up to three days to reach our lost and found department. Items not claimed within 90 days will be donated to a local charity or discarded.
What is your parking policy?
Isle of Palms offers various options for parking. The City maintains two parking lots close to Front Beach on Pavillion Drive. Parking passes are available for purchase at the front desk for $10 per night on weekdays and $15 per night on weekends.* Please be sure to prominently display the pass on the dash before leaving the parking lot.
*Free parking November through February.
What is your smoking policy?
We respect your right to smoke, but our guest rooms are all non-smoking rooms. We provide ash cans outside for your convenience, so please be courteous of others and do not smoke inside our rooms. Guests not complying with our no smoking policy will be charged a $150 cleaning fee and will not be allowed to stay.
How do you handle cancellations?
Cancellations are accepted without penalty up to 72 hours before 3 pm on the day of arrival. Cancellations within the 72-hour day cancellation policy are subject to the first night’s room and tax. No refunds. Please be aware that attempting to modify a reservation within the 72-hour cancellation period will be considered a cancellation.
Can I request a specific room?
Please note that we cannot guarantee requests for specific room numbers or locations, but we always try our best to grant requests.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in time is at 4 p.m. Check-out time is at 11 a.m.
Does the hotel allow early check-in and late check-out?
We will do our best to accommodate earlier arrivals, however, early check-in is not guaranteed and is based on availability upon arrival. The latest check-out time is 11 am and is based upon availability. An additional fee applies.
Are pets allowed at the hotel?
Yes, there are a select number of pet-friendly rooms available. Please note, our pet fee is $25 per night (2 pets maximum and 60 lb limit).
How far is the beach from the hotel?
We are located immediately off the Isle of Palms beach. Just walk a few steps from the hotel and you're on the beach.
What is the temperature of the water?

Do you offer group rates?
Yes, we offer attractive group rates when you book 10 rooms or more. Call to receive a rate quote for specific dates. Only the standard non-ocean view rooms can be blocked at a group rate. Group rates must be booked 45 days before check-in.
Does the room I booked have an ocean view?
You can only book the ocean view rooms through Seaside Inn directly via phone or our website. All 3rd party websites publish our non-ocean view rooms only.
What is the distance from the Seaside Inn to Downtown Charleston?
Seaside Inn is located 14 miles from downtown Charleston, which is an approximately 25-minute drive.
